In Salisbury, the Toys ‘R Us had one of the the earliest openings and its midnight hours attracted a line of shoppers that wrapped around the building.
Nearly 100 shoppers lined up outside Naylor’s ACE Hardware store in Cumberland three hours before doors opened at midnight. Edith Albright of Cumberland was first in line and planned to take advantage of discounts on tools.
In Baltimore, Marcia Hibbert researched the deals available before she went out to shop at Mondawmin Mall on Friday morning. She says it’s important to make sure there’s a sale before you go out.
