VETERAN JOURNALIST ROB TERRY JOINS THE DAILY RECORD

BALTIMORE, MD (2/1/10) — Veteran journalist Rob Terry has joined Maryland’s Daily Record as Managing Editor/Online and Special Publications.

Terry brings nearly 15 years of journalism experience to his new position at The Daily Record. There, he will oversee all of the publication’s Web, blog, and social media operations, as well as a host of magazines, reports, and newspaper sections on topics of interest to Maryland business and legal professionals.

NATIONAL NEWSPAPER ASSOCIATION HONORS MARYLAND’S DAILY RECORD WITH 20 AWARDS FOR JOURNALISTIC EXCELLENCE

BALTIMORE, MD (9/8/09) — The National Newspaper Association (NNA) has presented 19 awards for excellence in journalism to Maryland’s Daily Record, including nine first place honors.

In addition, The Daily Record is one of a handful of newspapers in contention for the General Excellence Award, to be presented at the “Toast to the Winners” Award Ceremony being held by the NNA on September 26.

MARYLAND’S DAILY RECORD WINS 16 AWARDS FROM SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS

BALTIMORE, MD (8/19/09) — On the heels of winning two international journalism awards and a dozen regional awards for editorial excellence, Maryland’s Daily Record announced today that it has been honored with 16 awards from the Maryland Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ).

The Daily Record took first place honors in seven newspaper categories in the annual competition sponsored by SPJ, including headlines, business, breaking news, graphic design, breaking news photography, general news, and specialty reporting. The Daily Record also won first place in the trade and professional magazine category for graphic presentation in its special publication, “20 Things Lawyers Need to Know.”

R2INTEGRATED AND THE DAILY RECORD DEPLOY NEW SOCIAL MEDIA TOOL TO PRESENT SOTOMAYOR CONFIRMATION

Warren of Baltimore,Md he’s spent nearly 9,1/2yrs in prison for a murder he didn’t commit your article really help me to invision that freedom is near and to give continueous encouragement to Mr. Warren not to give up hope that he too will have his day in court thank you again hope to hear from you soon!
