Jim Cornette is an American former wrestling booker, podcaster, manager and professional wrestler. Cornette worked for the Continental Wrestling Association, World Championship Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling and Jim Crockett Promotions as a manager and also the member of the booking committee. He was the owner of Smoky Mountain Wrestling from 1991 to 1995 and also played the role of Managing Director and Commissioner.

James Mark Cornette was born on September 17, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky and had an interest in wrestling. When he was just 14, he started working as a photographer, timekeeper, magazine and public relations correspondent. When he was interested in wrestling, Jim supported Christine Jarrett’s mother of ‘Jerry Jarrett’ at Louisville Garden.

Jim started his career at a very young age.
