Inception

The series stars, Billy and Ami Brown and their four sons, Bam Bam Brown, Bear Brown, Gabe Brown, and Noah Brown, and two daughters, Birdy and Rainy Brown. Noah’s wife, Rhain Alisha Brown, Noah’s son, Eli Brown, Gabe’s wife, Raquell Brown, Gabe’s daughter, Sophie Brown is also a part of the show. Bear’s son River Anthony Brown is also there in the series. It is also worth mentioning here that Billy has a criminal history of horse theft while his wife Ami Brown has a criminal history of welfare fraud.

The early seasons of the series were filmed near Hoonah, Alaska, and Chichagof Island. However, for the later seasons, the locations were changed to Okanogan County, Washington. Discovery Channel is the home to the series and the series’ first episode, “Raised Wild” was released on the 6th of May 2014. The season’s final and 5th episode, “The Wild Life” was released on the 15th of June 2014.

The second season of the series ran from January to February of 2015 while season 3 of the series ran from May to July of 2015. The first episode of season 4, “Block & Tackle” was released on the 11th of November 2015 and was watched by 3.985 million people. The final and the 8th episode of season 4, “Bush Heart” was released on the 6th of January 2016 and was viewed by 3.845 million viewers.

Season 5 of the series came out in 2016. 2017 came out with a couple of seasons of the series. The first episode of season 8, “Back to the Bush” was released on the 19th of August 2018 and it had 3.41 million viewers. The final and the 8th episode of the series titled was watched by 2.22 million people.

The 9th season of the series had only 5 episodes and the first episode was viewed by 2.18 million people while the final episode was viewed by 2.21 million people. The 10th season of the series ran from the 4th of August 2019 to the 15th of September 2019.

Similarly, the first episode of season 11 of the series came out on the 4th of December 2019 while the final episode of the season came out on the 29th of January 2020. The first episode of season 12, titled, “Life in the Extreme” was released on the 23rd of August 2020 while the final and the 8th episode of season 12 were released on the 11th of October 2020.

Apart from that, there have been more than 30 specials. While the popularity of the series has always been great, the series has been criticized for being fake or scripted. Billy Brown died from a seizure on the 7th of February 2021.
