Jonathan Lyndale Kirk was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 22, 1991. In 1999, he returned to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he spent the remainder of his youth. With his two older siblings, he grew up listening to Eminem, 50 Cent, and Lil Wayne.
Vance High School was his alma mater, and he graduated in 2010. He went to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for two years but dropped out, arguing that he was just there for his parents’ sake.
