Very little is known about his mother Shoshana. David was born in a big family where he is one of his parent’s nine children. A Few months later, they had won an arms sales contract from the US government worth almost $300 million.
The company was supposed to supply Afghan Army with aviation rockets, 100 million AK-47 ammunition and SDV Dragunov sniper rifles. The US Government later came to realise the arms they bought from Albania originally were from China. This got them into trouble as the terms of their contract stipulated clearly they were not supposed to supply Chinese ammunitions.
In the end, they didn’t manage to supply several contracts leading to termination and cancelation of more than five contracts. After trying to repacked the Chinese arms which constituted to fraud, they were arrested and David receiving a sentence of seven months house arrest while his partner got four years in prison.
