This guy was born on the 5th of December in 1965 as John Joseph Theodore Rzeznik in Buffalo, New York. He is the youngest and the only son of Joe Rzeznik and Edith (née Pomeroy) he has four siblings who are all girls. His father was a postal clerk and a bar proprietor. Both Edith and Joe Rzeznik were musicians playing the flute and the clarinet.
He was raised in a strict Catholic upbringing and were living in Buffalo’s working-class neighborhood known as East Side Polish. Unfortunately, on 2nd of February in 1981 when John was 15 years old, his father Joe died at the age of 53 years from a diabetic coma.
One year later, on October 26th 1982, his mother Edith succumbed from a sudden heart attack. Therefore, he was left under the care of his older sisters Fran, Phyllis, Kate and Gladys with the help of their cousin John Guljas.
