Leslie Kai Green was born in the Brooklyn Borough of New York City on the 12^th of July 1975. Unfortunately for him, he lost his parents at an early age and never got to know them well. He ended up being raised in foster care and residential treatment centres in Brooklyn.

Professional Career

Greene became an unstoppable bodybuilder when he’s working at Johnny Lats Gym in Brooklyn, where he was training with his personal trainer, Jakob Panotas in 1996. At the time, he was competing in the National Physique Committee (NPC) and was aiming to make it to IFBB. After his victory at the 2004 NPC Team Universe, he qualified for the IFBB and got his pro card.

In 2011, he began working with George Farah, a preparation coach and was able to become first in the 2011 New York Pro Championship. He went on for Mr. Olympia in the same year and emerged as number 3 in the competition. This placing ensured that he was to participate in the 2012 Mr. Olympia.

In 2012, he decided not to compete in the New York Pro so that he would focus on Mr. Olympia. After competing, he was placed in second place. Unfortunately for him, he achieved the same result in the following two years; 2013 and 2014. Greene did not compete in the 2015 Mr. Olympia due to reasons he could not disclose to the public.
