Kero Kero Bonito was formed in London in 2011 by the members, Sarah Bonito, Gus Lobban, and Jamie Bulled. The meaning of the name of the band isn’t clear but it roughly translates to “Pretty Quero-quero” or “I want, I want pretty”. Sarah is the vocalist of the band, while Gus and Jamie work as producers and multi-instrumentalists. The formation of the group began with both Gus and Jamie looking for a band member who knew Japanese.
