JP Morgan employed McVey to manage the North America Futures and Options Business, which included retail brokerage, analysis, logistics, financing, and compliance, in 1991. He rose through the ranks to become the managing director of the company. McVey moved to New York in 1995 to manage JP Morgan’s North American Fixed Income Operations, where he was responsible for the retail delivery of fixed-income assets to clients until 2000.
