This album was a big hit, it raised the name of Redman in the music industry. His successive albums of the 90s include Dare Iz a Darkside which was released in the year 1994, Muddy Waters which was released in the year 1996, and Doc’s da Name which was released in the year 1999. His successive hits also got him membership of the EPMD-led Def Squad.

In this squad, he gave two hit songs including El Niño which was released in the year 1998 and Blackout! which was released in the year 1999.
